In light of circumstances due to the Corona Virus pandemic, the Board of Directors of the Groves Pecan Festival has canceled the 2020 Pecan Festival, Pageant, Art & Photo Contest, and all other associated activities of the Pecan Festival.
Our top priority is the health and well-being of the community, the thousands of likely attendees, the vendors, carnival personnel, and all employees, volunteers, and City workers who work so hard to generate the joy, thrill, and heart of the Pecan Festival, year after year. We will all be back stronger than ever in 2021.
We did not come to this decision lightly; we know our ultimate responsibility is to public health and safety.
