Starting on Monday, Oct.7th , the Groves Pecan Festival Treasure Hunt will begin. Clues will appear on the “Groves Pecan Festival” Facebook page at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. On Thursday the clues will appear at 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily thru Sunday, if needed.
Hunters can find daily Golden Pecans (Monday-Thursday) and there will also be a grand prize awarded.
The Groves Pecan Festival is scheduled for Thursday, October 10th, 2023–Sunday, October 13th,, 2024
Carnival Rides during the festival begin at 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10th, 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11th, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, October12th, and 12:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13th ending the festival.
Groves Pecan Festival WASHER BOARD TOURNAMENT: Saturday, October 15in Lion’s Park, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The Cooking with Pecans Contest, will be held on Saturday, Octpber 12th Judging will take place at Groves Chamber of Commerce Office, located at 4399 Main Ave., Groves, TX 77619. Announcement of winners will take place at Lion’s Park Pavilion at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 12th.
The Groves Pecan Festival Pet Show, will be Sunday, October 13th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lee Rodgers Pavilion located in Lion’s Park. Pet Show registration begins at 12 noon.
The Horseshoe Tournament – Horseshoe Tournament, Sunday, October 13th at Noon at the Horseshoe Pits
Gumbo Cook-Off – Saturday, 10/12/24 at 7am teams start cooking. Judging at 11:30 Gumbo sales start at 12pm and Winners announced at 2pm.
Beer Garden Hours: Thursday Closed Friday 5pm-10pm Saturday 11am-10 pm Sunday 12pm-6pm
